Cefn Branch Visit Tŷ Mawr Country Park

Here in Cefn Branch Labour Party we have been looking for ways to closer connect with our community, so recently we decided to adopt a few of the animals at the wonderful Tŷ Mawr Country Park. This morning we dropped into Tŷ Mawr to make friends with the animals we have sponsored.

Everyone warned us that llamas spit, but they did nothing of the kind and ate from our hands most politely and were awfully sweet, but it was the dear, fat, little guinea pig that stole my heart away. Thank you so much to the Park Ranger, who clearly loves the animals, and to Iain McConnell, whose animal photos are brilliant.

Tŷ Mawr has been subject to some difficult cuts recently and faces more in the year to come. By being able to sponsor some of the animals at the park we hope to do our bit, however small initially, to help support the wonderful work that is carried out by our rangers on out Country Park.

You can see more of the brilliant photography from Iain at Tŷ Mawr HERE.
